Our weekly ‘Friday Favourite’ look-back through the photographic archives is establishing itself as one of our most favoured inclusions.
It has caught the imagination of our growing numbers of followers and readers.
Our ‘Friday Favourite’ this week concerns members of the Castleisland AFC Youth team in a specially convened photograph to reveal their new Ahern’s Opel strip which had just been presented to them by Ahern’s Opel MD, Mick Ahern and their coach, Georgie O’Callaghan.
As you will see from this, and the accompanying photograph, the tradition of Ahern’s support for the game in Castleisland continues to this day.
