A quick reminder that golfers from everywhere within striking distance and beyond are invited to Castleisland for this weekend’s Easter Fundraiser. Castleisland Golf Club will host a four day fundraiser over the Easter weekend. The competition will run from Good Friday through to Easter Monday. The competition is open and teams of three are invited to take part. Two scores will count at each of the 18 holes and prizes for time on some of the top courses in the region are up for grabs. Re-entries are permitted. Castleisland Golf club is a parkland course set on 200 acres and was established in 2002. Over the past decade the course has hosted many GUI and ILGU major competitions including the Jimmy Breun and is set to host the West Munster section of the Irish Mixed foursomes this June.
