If you’re Up for the Match and all-out for a real preview of this month’s All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final, the place to be is Ó Riada’s Bar on Thursday night, September 18th at 9-30pm.
There, St. Kieran’s GAA Club will hold a fund-raising night of fun and some serious football talk ahead of the ‘Green and Gold Final’ between Donegal and Kerry.
Panellists on the night will include: Castleisland’s Donie Buckley who has an All-Ireland Club football medal to his name. Buckley has also been involved with a number of inter-county teams. Football pundit, Darragh Ó Sé has multiple All-Ireland titles and All Stars awards; Denny Long, football pundit and All-Ireland medal winner with Cork in 1973; John Fintan Daly – who coached Duhallow to two Cork county football titles and Milltown/Castlemaine to an intermediate football title – will also attend.
The master of ceremonies on the night will be Radio Kerry’s Andrew Morrissey.
There are two All-Ireland tickets up for grabs on the night along with other raffle prizes.
“It’s assured to be a fantastic night, full of discussion, debate and discourse and is a night not to be missed by GAA fans throughout the St. Kieran’s area and beyond,” said club PRO Amber Galwey.
Finger food will be provided and admission is just €5. Tickets can be purchased now from club officers or at the door on the night of the event. Contact: 085 2810195 for tickets or further information.
