Bank of Ireland Expo to launch this evening at 5pm

The Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town, two-day Expo will be opened this Friday evening at Castleisland Community Centre. The scheduled launch time is 5pm and the bank locally has issued an open invitation to all to come and visit. There will be a range of valuable spot prizes on offer from the local businesses at their stands in the course of the evening.

The activities taking place over the two days include a Business & Community Expo this evening, Friday 13 November from 5pm to 9pm and a Sports and Community Expo tomorrow, Saturday 14 November from 11am to 2pm; both are taking place in Castleisland Community Centre. Events are free to attend and are open to both customers and non-customers of Bank of Ireland.

Guest appearances by the likes of: Charlie Nelligan, Mick Galwey, Siobhán Fleming and Killian Young have been lined up as well as business experts, Gavin Duffy, entrepreneur on Dragon’s Den; Dr. Edmond P Harty, CEO of Dairymaster, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 and the bank’s own experienced staff members. Handed Down in Scart on November 21st

The next installment of the intriguing Handed Down series of lectures and recitals will be held at Scartaglin Heritage Centre on Saturday week, November 21st. The second series got off to a blistering start on an opening night which included: knowledgeable MC Emma O’Leary with guests: Aoife Ní Chaoimh and Paudie O’Connor, Nell Ní Chróinín and the multi talented, seriously honoured, McAuliffe sisters from the UK and many more.
