GAA Lotto at €7,800 for Griffin’s Bar Draw on June 17th
We will shortly be celebrating the 20th anniversary of our GAA Lotto. We thank you all for your unwavering support over the past years and look forward to the future with great enthusiasm. Our lotto jackpot for €7,600 was not won on Friday night. Drawn numbers were: 11, 20, 25 and 27
Consolation prizes of €50 each to: Emma Daly and Jimmy Herlihy, Milltown. €25 each to: Colm Cronin, Milltown; Jimmy Herlihy, Milltown; Fionnula Walsh, Caherciveen and Margaret Murphy, Glenbeigh. Congratulations to one and all.
Our next Lotto Jackpot for €7, 800, is in Griffin’s Bar, Castlemaine on Friday, June 17th 2016. Just €2 a ticket or three for €5 can win you the lotto jackpot or a share in it. One can also avail of a yearly ticket for just €50 or three yearly tickets for €100. We are very grateful to Mike O’ Shea and sons- Builders, Farran for generously sponsoring our GAA lotto.
New Baby for Andrew and Karen
Congratulations to one of our under age mentors Andrew Fitzpatrick and his wife Karen Keane, Knockreigh, on the birth of their baby girl-Charlie May .We hope you will have many good times with your new little girl!
Junior/Leaving Cert Students
The time has finally arrived for all the Junior and Leaving Cert exam students. We hope you will be rewarded for all your hard work and commitment over the past years.
U-12s Lee Strand County League
Well done to both our U-12 teams in their recent encounter with Dr Crokes. The A team secured a victory on a score line of 5-13 to Dr. Crokes’ 2-11. The B team, despite playing excellent football were beaten on a score line of -1/04 to 10 points. Well done to all the coaches and to Dr. Crokes for two brilliant games of football.
On next Sunday, June 12th, both teams are away to Austin Stacks with a 6 p.m. start. Best of luck to all!

John West Féile Peil Na nÓg Southwest
Fixtures have been sent to clubs. Anybody wishing to see the fixtures can log on to www.munstergaa.ie Milltown Castlemaine will be hosting Fenagh GFC of Carlow for the John West Féile Peil Na nÓg weekend. We are very much looking forward to welcoming the players, mentors and their supporters to our club.
Junior and Senior Football Championship
Kerry will play Limerick in the Munster Junior Football Championship Semi-Final on Sunday June 12th at 1:30pm in Fitzgerald Stadium Killarney. Afterwards, Kerry will play Clare in the Munster Senior Football Championship Semi-Final at 3:30pm. Best of luck to all the footballers and their management teams.
Garvey’s SuperValu-Senior Football Championship-Round 3
All roads will lead to Austin Stack Park, Tralee on next Saturday evening where Milltown/ Castlemaine will take on Daingean Uí Chuis at 5.00 p.m.in a double header. This will be followed by Austin Stacks versus West Kerry at 6.45 p.m.
So let’s all go along and support our seniors on Saturday evening next.
Hard luck to the juniors who were narrowly defeated by Listowel on a score line of 1-13 to 2-8.

Congratulations to any of our club members who received your college exam results recently. To those who didn’t do as well as expected, there is always the opportunity to repeat in August.

Cúl Camps will take place in our club from July 11th to July 15th. This is always a wonderful week of fun and activities for all who attend. To book your place, please complete the Cúl Camps application form and return it to your child’s coach.
