The death has occurred of Noreen Dorgan-Sheehy, Pinewood Estate, Killarney and Lyreacrompane.
The late Noreen Sheehy blazed a trail for women in 1991 when she followed her dream and graduated in Birmingham from a two year course in painting and decorating. She then spent a few almost six years working in various parts of England before returning to Kerry in 1997 and setting up home in Cordal.
It was while working with the Millstreet based Forde Painting and Decorating firm that she and colleagues were assigned to an extensive re-decorating job in Castleisland.
Here, the team worked on the Church of Saints Stephen and John during the summer and early autumn of 2002.
The late Noreen was the beloved daughter of the late John-Joe and Bridie (Nee Barry) and sister of the late Kieran.
Dearly loved and sadly missed by her wife, Aileen, sister Hannah-Mai (Collins), her brothers Mike and John-Joe, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncle, aunt, nephews and nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces, relatives and many friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
