The death has occurred of Michael Finnegan (59) of Alley Road, Brosna Co. Kerry. Died suddenly on November 23rd at his home in Brosna.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary and children Eileen, John, Teresa, Marie, Michael and Timmy, grandchildren, daughter in law, sons in law, brother, sisters, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
A gifted carpenter, the late Michael and his work will be well known to the Knocknagoshel based Spike Players’ audiences over the past few years.
Michael was responsible for any of the set parts that required the skills of a carpenter and it was obvious he took that responsibility quite seriously.

Fellow Spikes Players group member, Maireád Brosnan said that the group is simply stunned at the news of Michael’s sudden passing.
“We will miss him so much. He got involved with us a few years ago and there was no fuss or bother with anything he was asked to do. He made a replica of a Jubilee Range and you’d think you could warm yourself near it.
“He was gifted on stage too and he won two best actor awards at two different drama festivals when we took the Bryan McMahon play, Jack Furey on the circuit last year. He was meticulous in everything he did.
“We are just stunned,” Maireád concluded. May God be good to him.
