Talented students of two Castleisland secondary schools, St. Patrick’s and St. Joseph’s Presentation, took to the stage recently and entertained a packed St. John’s Hall with music, singing, dancing and comedy for over two hours. It was a fantastic night of entertainment.

Students on Stage

“It was wonderful to see our students on stage performing and having fun through the traditions that have been handed down through the generations,” said St. Patrick’s principal Denis O’Donovan.

Excellent Example

“The night was an excellent example of teaching and learning taking place outside the classroom and giving the students an opportunity to express their talents, imagination and creativity. These experiences will contribute greatly to developing their self- confidence and character formation.

Great Credit Due

“There is huge credit due to the teachers for all the preparation and rehearsals and great credit due to all the students that took part for the interest and commitment that they gave to giving a wonderful nights entertainment. Well done to all involved,” said Mr. O’Donovan.
