Members of the Castleisland Community College Parents’ Association are pleased to announce that they will host a Monster Valentine’s Night Bingo at Castleisland Community Centre on Tuesday, February 14th at 8.30pm sharp.

Association chairperson, Lorna Keane said that funds raised on the night will greatly benefit every child attending the school.

Book Rental Scheme

“From assisting in the school book rental scheme to extra curricular activities it will make a huge difference to the life of the college,” said Ms. Keane.

“On the night there will be €4,250 in prize money with raffles for a large number of hampers. These have been kindly donated by parents of the school.

“We wish to send our sincere thanks to everyone for their continuous support to the parents’ association and we’re looking forward to seeing you all on the night,” she said.

Bingo Books at the Centre

Tickets are €10 each and are available from Castleisland Community College until Tuesday, February 14th. Bingo books will be on sale at the community centre on the night.

The ‘Monster Bingo’ is one of the first events in a very busy season for Castleisland Community College as it prepares to celebrate its first 30 years in its present location in the townland of Tonbwee.

Students got Stuck In

The students of the college got stuck in too and, under supervision, made up hampers of goods for prizes on the big night. Their slogan for the project is:  Love to win at Castleisland Community College Monster Valentine’s Bingo. It can be read in several ways. Whichever way you choose to read it, it’s a clarion call to dedicated and casual bingo players to be there on the night.
