John Bell Selected to North Kerry U-15 School of Excellence

Congratulations to Knocknagoshel GAA Club player, John Bell who was selected on the North Kerry School of Excellence U-15 team.

The North Kerry School of Excellence provides a comprehensive, purpose designed training programme for the development of underage players in the area. It consists of programmes for players and coaches and it provides a huge boost to football in North Kerry.

Club coaches are invited in to observe and learn from the coaches working with the teams. As well as providing top quality coaching sessions for the North Kerry squads, the School of Excellence concentrates on developing and improving the knowledge and expertise of coaches through the area.

Knock/Brosna Minors Away to St. Pats

Knock/Brosna minor team will play their next match on Saturday, March 4th at 4pm away to St Pat’s, Blennerville.

Scór na bPáistí Time Moved to 6pm

The finals of the Castleisland District Scór na bPáistí will be held in Knocknagoshel Community Centre on Sunday, February 26th at 6pm. Please note that the starting time has been moved from 4pm to 6pm because of the Kerry V Monaghan National League game in Killarney.

This is sure to be a great occasion with the cream of young talent from the district competing. All are welcome to attend.

Fixtures

Knocknagoshel seniors will play in the North Kerry league this Sunday, February 26th at 1.30pm away to Moyvane.

We wish John Walsh all the best when playing in the Corn Ui Mhuiri Final this Saturday, February 25th at 4.30pm in Austin Stack Park with The Green CBS against St Brendan’s of Killarney.

U-16s Away to Ballymac

Knock/Brosna/Duagh will play their next game with an away trip to Ballymac on Sunday, February 26th at 12noon in the Castleisland District League.

Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection

Knocknagoshel GAA Club will hold a clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags can be left by the wall inside the entrance gatesto the football field.

All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes, handbags, curtains and towels. All bags must be dropped off prior to March 17th.

€5,800 Club Lotto Reminder

The next draw will be for an impressive jackpot of €5,800 and will be held in O’Connor’s Bar on Saturday, March 4th at 10pm. Tickets are available from: The Family Shop; Leahy’s Post Office, the local bars and usual sellers. Thank you for your continued support.
