Kilmurry National School Parents’ Association spokesperson, Mary Teresa McAuliffe sent a message to let it be known that her association is holding a Karaoke fundraiser for developments and improvements at their school.
Their event will be held in Hughes’ Bar in Cordal on the coming Saturday night, April 8th. at 8:30pm.
Surprise Guest
The line-up, minus the surprise guest, for the Kilmurry National School Parents’ Association Karaoke Night at Hughes’ Bar in Cordal is as follows: Brid McCarthy, David Myers and Anna Kelliher, Jack O’Connell, Alison McGaley, Marie Flynn, Katie Flynn, Timmy Myers, Mary Teresa Kelliher, Aileen Cullnane, J.J. O’Connor, Denis McCarthy and Joe O’Connor.
Kilmurry National School Principal Thèrèse Kearney said that the fundraiser is for outdoor facilities at the school.
Outdoor Facilities
“We have been planning to develop a garden on the school grounds and we’re also looking at other outdoor facilities which will be of benefit to the children.
“We’re all looking forward to the fundraiser and we are inviting people to come along and get involved – and you can vote for your favourite act on the night.
“It will be a night of fun for all involved and all there will be helping the school to put environmental education facilities in place for the children of the community,” said Ms. Kearney.
