Sunday is Jamboree Day
The Cordal GAA Club Jamboree, which was postponed due to the sad passing of club man, Jimmy Roche will take place on this Sunday July 9th from 11:30am.
Football matches between Cordal and Scartaglin at U-6, U-8 and U-10 will take place followed by juvenile races and other events.
All players are asked to be at the field at 11am to ensure a prompt start.
Cordal/Scart U-16
Cordal/Scartaglin played Asdee/Ballylongford in Cordal for Round 2 of the Lee Strand County League on Wednesday 28/06/17. Unfortunately, the visiting team proved too strong on the night.
The next match for the team is on the Wednesday, July 19th in Cordal against Finuge to fulfill Round 3 of the County League.
Cordal/Scart U-14
Cordal/Scartaglin Under 14 played Round 2 of the East Kerry Region League Division 3 away to Rathmore on Monday July 3rd.
Another win for Cordal/Scartaglin in an exciting and high scoring game of football. The game finished on a score-line of Cordal/Scartaglin 5-10 to Rathmore 5-4.
Next fixture to be played also in the East Kerry Region League is an away game against Spa to be played on July 10th at 7pm.
The team’s summer of football continues as they welcome Dr. Crokes B to Scartaglin on Monday, July 17th.
Cordal U-12s
Cordal U-12s welcome Sneem/Derrynane to Cordal on Wednesday, July 12th for the last match in the current round. Please turn out and support the team which has enjoyed an excellent season so far.
Lisa McHugh Ticket Table
A ticket table will be available at Sunday’s Jamboree in Cordal due to the large demand for tickets for the Lisa McHugh Concert and Dance at Castleisland Community Centre on July 28th.
All parents interested in going to the event are being asked to purchase tickets at the table as only a limited amount remain.
