The death has occurred of Stephen Divane, Knockeen, Castleisland, Co. Kerry. November 23rd 2017.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken parents John and Helen, brother Stan, sister Flo, grandmother Kitty, uncles, aunts, cousins, all extended family and many friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

The people of this parish are more keenly aware than those of many others of the grinding grief and sadness brought about by the death of a young person.

Parents and siblings are left heartbroken by the suddenness of the situation they find themselves in.

While people of all ages have been deeply touched by this kind of tragedy down through the years here, it is the parents and the siblings and the close friends who bear the brunt of the awful pain.

Castleisland has been visited by that dark cloud again in recent days with the terrible news of the death of Stephen Divane at only 28 years of age.

May God be good to him and to those who mourn him.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home, Castleisland on Monday evening, November 27th from 5pm to 7pm. Private removal from his residence on Tuesday morning arriving to Castleisland Parish Church for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilbanivane Cemetery, Castleisland.
