School Leavers and adults considering a return to education are invited to an Information Session on Further Education Options Outside of CAO at the Kerry College of Further Education (KCFE), Tralee on this Wednesday 29th August commencing at 6.30pm sharp.
Career Goals
The Information Session will highlight how career goals can be achieved through Level 5 and Level 6 Post Leaving Certificate Courses.
In particular, the focus of the Information Session will be on the value of PLCs and how courses at KCFE allow school leavers to access high point third level courses at various Universities and Institutes of Technology throughout the country and beyond without having the points score in the traditional leaving cert.
Quality Assured Programmes
KCFE also offer a wide range of quality assured programmes which are ideal for those looking to up-skill, retrain or become employable as they qualify learners to go directly into employment upon completion. Work experience brings learners into contact with employers and because the majority of programmes are skills based they meet employer needs.
Parents of school leavers are also welcome to attend the Information Session and it will give them an opportunity to really explore and appreciate the value of Post Leaving Certificate Courses.
Online Applications
Programmes are in high demand so it is crucial that those considering doing a PLC at the college this September apply online now as places are being allocated on a first come first served basis subject to minimum entry requirements being met.
The college prospectus can be picked up from the college office in Clash, Tralee and applications can be made online at www.kerryfe.ie
