Knocknagoshel travelled to play Beaufort B in Round 7 of the County Senior Football League on Sunday afternoon.
Knocknagoshel dominated proceedings from the throw-in and had a goal by Edmond Walsh in the first minute.
Michael Walsh, David O’Donoghue, John Walsh, Edmond Walsh and Niall Barrett added points for the visitors while three pointed frees by Paudie Coffey were the only first half scores for Beaufort B. Half time Beaufort B 0-3 Knocknagoshel 1-10.
Knocknagoshel, having introduced a number of substitues early in the second half, continued to add to the scoresheet with Dan Roche, Edmond Walsh, Niall Barrett, Michael Keane and David Cahill adding further points. Beaufort B had second half points by Kevin Ferris, Paudie Coffey and Oisin O’Connor but Knocknagoshel ran out comfortable winners on a scoreline of Beaufort B 0-8 Knocknagoshel 1-18.
North Kerry Division 2 Final
Knocknagoshel will play Asdee in the North Kerry Division 2 Final on Saturday 6th July at 7pm. Venue to be confirmed.
Lotto at O’Connor’s Bar

Coiste na nÓg Blitz
Knocknagoshel Coiste Na nÓg hosted a very successful under 8’s blitz on Wednesday 26th June with teams from Beale and St. Senans taking part. We would like to thank Kierans XL who generously supplied fruit and water for this blitz and the recent under 10 blitz.
Knocknagoshel/Brosna U-16 defeated Bally/Asdeee/Clounmacon in the County League.
Cúl Camps
Knocknagoshel GAA Club will host the Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps on the week of July 15th to 19th. Registration is now open on www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection
Knocknagoshel GAA are holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags of clothes can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes, handbags, curtains and towels. Please note that duvets are not accepted.
