The annual Roger Casement Commemoration will take place at Casement Fort (McKenna’s Fort), Ardfert, at 3pm on Saturday next, 3rd August.
Two short short talks will be given. One by Donncha Ó hAodha, President of Dáil na Mumhan, Conradh na Gaeilge, and the other by Mícheál Ó Ruairc, Irish scholar, author and poet.

Beirt beirt aoichainteoirí ann….Donncha Ó hAodha ó Chúil Aodha, Uachtarán Dháil na Mumhan de Chonradh na Gaeilge, agus Mícheál Ó Ruairc ón Leith-Triúigh, scoláire, údar, file, staraí. Tá an comóradh á eagrú ag Tionól Mhic Easmainn, eagras deonach atá lonnaithe i gceantar Thrá Lí. Is é Seán Seosamh Ó Conchubhair, staraí áitiúil, cathaoirleach Choiste an Tionóil. Beidh fáilte is céad roimh chách.
To get to the Casement Fort, Ardfert, go left at village, pass St. Brendan’s Catholic Church, watch for sign and take a right turn, drive on for a míle or so.
