St. Mary’s Basketball club member Paris McCarthy headed off to Sofia on Sunday where she will represent her town, county and country in the U-16 women’s European Championships.
Second 2019 Club International
Paris is the second club member to represent Ireland this year as Siofra O’Shea was a member of the U-18 women’s squad earlier in the summer.
Paris is joined in Sofia by another Kerry player, Tanya Salvado of Kenmare Kestrels.

The Ireland U-16 women’s team will contest the FIBA U-16 Women’s European Championships Division B from August 15-24th in Sofia, Bulgaria.
