The usual River Island Hotel card games were held in the Cordal Resource Centre as the Patrick O’Keeffe Traditional Music Festival was held in Castleisland over the weekend.

2nd.: Maria O’Connor and Dan McCarthy, Martina O’Donoghue and Jimmy Kearney, Johnny O’Callaghan and Seán Walsh.
Ladies: Annie O’Connor and Eileen Donovan, Joan Kenny and Ann O’Connor.
Gents.: Dan Reidy and Fintan Quirke, Mike Leahy and Patrick O’Donoghue, Danny Loughlin and Willie Woulfe. Mixed: Joan Nolan and Tony Fleming. Spots: Johnny Healy and Frank Moran, Nuala O’Shea and Denis Clifford.
