At least two, almost nationwide, stores use variations on the theme: ‘When they’re gone, they’re gone’ and local florist, Sheila Costello joined them in its use today as Christmas races towards us.
Known locally and with great affection as Sheila Healy Rae because of her political affiliations, Sheila is anxious to let her customers know that her door and table wreaths, Christmas trees and red berry holly are disappearing at a rate of knots.
List of Loyal Customers
I have a list of very loyal customers and I want to make sure they’re looked after as I’m closing early on Christmas Eve and I want to have everyone sorted by then.
“There’s a fierce demand for all kinds of greenery and wreath decorations this year for some reason and the trees are flying and I don’t want my regular customers to be caught out,” said Sheila.
