A 5K fundraising walk will set off from Castleisland Rugby Club grounds on Sunday, February 11th at 1pm.
The walk is in aid of the Cancer Research and Statistic Foundation at the Mid Western Cancer Day Ward in Limerick Hospital.
The walk will leave the rugby club and take in the Black Road route and around by Church Street, back up through the town and finish back at the rugby club grounds.
There, tea and coffee and buns will be provided for the walkers.
“All walkers are more than welcome and donations can be made on the day or on the JustGiving page,” said event organiser, Patrick McCarthy.
