New Jersey Raiders Missed the Cup But Made off With the Bucket

New Jersey based Morris Rugby Corporation squad member, Alan Grace was the winner of the Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket prize of €727 on Saturday night after the annual game for the John Browne memorial Cup at the Crageens where (right) club PRO Brian O’Sullivan was joined on ‘The Island’ team by his son Dylan.

The New Jersey based Morris Rugby Club / Munster Supporters returned to Castleisland for the tenth anniversary game for the John Browne Memorial Cup they came in force this year in an effort to claim the cup.

Host club’s PRO Brian O’Sullivan lined out with his son Dylan. The game was a tight affair and the cup remains at home for another years on a scoreline  of 26 points to seven.

However, the visitors didn’t go away empty handed as one of their travelling party, Alan Grace won the club’s Split the Bucket fundraising draw prize of €727.

The coming Saturday night’s draw will be held at The Fountain Bar at 9pm.
