Ballymac Drama Group Back on the Ivy Leaf Boards this Weekend

Ballymacelligott Drama Group is returning to the Ivy Leaf Art Centre with a performance of Cupid Wore Skirts – a three-act comedy by Sam Cree.

After a very successful run last year at the same venue, rehearsals are in the final stages for this year’s performance. This year sees the return of previous members along with some new faces to the group.The play is directed by Siobhan O’Connor.

Advertising for a Wife

The action takes place in the living room at the rear of Andrew Coulter’s antique shop. Andrew, a widower, is talked into advertising for a wife. However, he finds the respondents are not quite what he imagined.

The play will be performed over a three night run in the Ivy Leaf Art Theatre, Castleisland from this Friday, March 22nd. and on the following two nights: Saturday, 23rd and Sunday, 24th.
