Notice of Partial Castleisland By-Pass Closures on Monday and Tuesday

Both Cllr. Fionnán Fitzgerald and Cllr. Charlie Farrelly sent notice of partial Castleisland Bypass closures for maintenance on the coming Monday and Tuesday, May 20th and 21st. From 8am to around 6pm on both days.

The notice reads as follows:

“Please be aware that routine maintenance and grass cutting works on the Castleisland Bypass will commence on the week from Monday, May 20th. 2024 as follows:

CastleIsland Bypass: Monday, May 20th. On lane 1 Closure Southbound in place from 8am and removed around 6pm.

Tuesday 21st – Lane 1 Closure Northbound in place for 8am and removed around 6pm.

The dual carriageway will be reduced to a single lane for the duration of the works.”
