An Ríocht 50/50 Draw took place in Hartnett’s / Fagin’s Bar on Friday evening.

Eileen O’Donoghue, Scartaglen, who won €600 the previous week, was presented with her cheque by club president Denis Brosnan.

Erika Greenwood from Maynooth, a granddaughter of Denis’s drew the winning ticket and Marie Cotter from Knocknagoshel won €606.

The weekly draw will take place at An Ríocht Health & Leisure Club at 4.15pm on the coming Friday.

Visitors Appreciation Appreciated

An Ríocht Athletic Track was the venue last weekend for the Munster Juvenile Athletic Championships.

There was an estimated 3,000 people present over the two days which included athletes, parents and supporters.

The weekend was a huge success with staff and volunteers looking after all who attended.

Many of the visitors remarked on what fantastic facilities the pavilion and track are and they really appreciated that hot food was available on what turned out to be a couple of very cold days.
