Hair Shedding ‘Mush Tash Fest’ Raises Over €5K at Ballymac’s Half Way

A group of lads from Ballymacelligott got together and shaved beards, moustaches and a head to raise vital funds for Recovery Haven Kerry Cancer Support House last November.

Now that all the promised funds and support have been collected they arranged a cheque presentation with the afore mentioned charity as recipient of their notable haul.

This event titled Mush Tash Fest all took place at the Half Way Inn, Ballymacelligott and raised a massive €5,156.30 and there was some collecting in that.

Blown Away by Generosity

“We are genuinely blown away by the immense generosity of the people of Ballymac and are hugely grateful for their amazing support” said Gemma Fort manager of Recovery Haven.

Thomas McQuinn, proprietor of the Half Way Inn, wishes to thank the people of Ballymacelligott also and the staff on the night, Pat the Barber and Thomas McQuinn Junior for looking after everyone.
