The author’s nom de plume of Diana T Hunter may not mean much to us on this side of the Irish Sea – not yet.
But when she steps away from her keyboard and reveals the reality of the Victoria O’Sullivan side we begin to realise that there could be a Kerry connection here somewhere.
And there is – and its solid foundation is knee deep in Scartaglen.
When I got the Email from the UK this morning the very first thought that came into my head was, this is an ‘Up Scart’ kind of day.
First Book Published on July 12th
Victoria had her first book published yesterday, July 12th without bugle or bonfire and titled it Stone Sword.
Victoria is a grand-daughter of the late Paddy and Tessie O Sullivan of Adriville, Scartaglen and the daughter of the UK based Mary O’Sullivan.
Victoria’s uncle Pat O’Sullivan – of Adriville Bridge (greyhound) fame still lives in the family home in Scart and she also has her Aunt Nora, Uncle Dan and cousins in Castleisland.
First of a Trilogy
Stone Sword is an undulating read in which friends become foes, romance becomes deadly and legends become truth and it’s the first in a trilogy – so we’ll be hearing a lot more about Diana T.
The Flare was said to have been the lifeblood of The Five Realms, a power based on the bonds between living things. But for Beatrix Arnett, the Flare has faded to nothing more than a fairy tale.
Born into the heart of the Egel insurgence, Bea has never known anything except rebellion.
Now she is eighteen and determined to prove that she is more than just the daughter of a traitor.
Infamously Cruel and Dangerous
Even if this means spying on the infamously cruel and dangerous Hampton monarchy.
Between her inexplicable psychic bond with her cat, Sashe, and her hidden feelings for the charismatic Ronan Ark who has been chosen as her handler, she finds that she must hide all sides of herself if she is to succeed.
Just Another Traitor?
With allies in unlikely places, enemies inside and outside the walls and the possibility of an ancient powr being unleashed, Bea begins to question everything she thought she knew.
Meanwhile, the Egals grow impatient. Can she deliver what she vowed, or will she end up going down in history as just another traitor?
As soon as the book becomes available in Ireland I’ll add the information to the end of this article the minute I get it. So check back here over the coming days.
