Event PRO Kieran Glover said afterwards that they had a wide array of makes and models from the 1950s through to the early 2000s.

“It was fantastic to have numerous cars and bikes not seen before on their first outing, as well as some unique and rarely seen examples, including: a 1980 Honda 50 recently restored to as new condition; a 1990 3.0 litre Vauxhall Senator; a 1990 Fiat Panda 750cc L ‘Italia 90’ special edition; a 1968 Morris Minor, a project car we might see on the road for next year’s run ? A 1992 Mini Thirty 30th anniversary special edition 1 of 1000 produced in black,” said Kieran.

Cheques for 2024 Nominated Charities

Since then the proceeds of the run have been presented to both the 2024 nominated charities: Knocknagoshel Over 55 Services which operates a voluntary led service from the heart of their community – the Knocknagoshel Community Centre and Scoil Ide Curranes National School – a rural, co-educational primary school in the parish of Castleisland with an enrollment of 87 pupils.

Both shared the total of €5,708.18 which was raised over that weekend, and this included a bucket collection in Castleisland on the day prior to the run.
