Castleisland Family Resource Centre, has a range of courses planned for autumn / winter 2024.
Castleisland Peer Support Group for Mental Health Recovery continue to meet between 7pm and 9pm on Tuesday evenings.
This group is co-facilitated by trained peers of Kerry Peer Support Network. All welcome.
The following classes will run each week for six-week blocks and are funded by Kerry ETB.
Social Health and Education Program
‘Managing Stress in our Daily Lives’ a class delivered by SHEP’s Sheila Fitzgerald will commence on September 16th and will run from 7pm to 9.30pm each Monday evening.
Breda’s Class on Parchment Crafting
Breda Galway will deliver a class on Parchment crafting commencing on September Thursday, September 26th.
This class will run from 10am-12 noon each Thursday. Parchment Craft is worked on special parchment paper with embossing tools and special needles to create pictures or cards.
Peter’s Photography Class
Peter Keane will deliver a photography class on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm commencing on September 24th.
Cecile’s Popular Art Class
The centre’s popular craft class with Cecile Augereau will commence on November 5th and will take place from 10am-12 noon for six weeks.
Art with Fiona in November
Art with Fiona Ladden commences on November 4th and 10am – 12 noon for six weeks.
