Dan McCarthy from Firies Plays Trump Card and Lands Split the Bucket €1,000 Prize

At Saturday night’s Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket Draw, Willie Sugrue, Cordal (centre) received his winnings of €679 from John Riordan (left) with draw host Tom McCarthy who pulled Dan McCarthy’s lucky envelope for the Firies man’s prize of €1,000. 

The Castleisland Rugby Club Split the Bucket sixth anniversary draw was held Tom McCarthy’s Bar on Saturday night.

Last week’s winner and ex club player Willie Sugrue from Cordal collected  his €679 winnings  from current team manager, John Riordan.

Draw host Tom McCarthy picked out this week’s lucky €1,000 winner an online entry from Dan McCarthy from Firies.

The club thanks all its draw supporters and the businesses of its area of coverage for their continued support.

The next draw will be held in The Fountain Bar on Saturday night around 9pm.

How to Play Split the Bucket

Split the Bucket draw envelopes are available in shops and pubs throughout this and neighbouring parishes.

You simply put your €2 in the envelope, seal it and sign it and add your telephone number and pop it in the bucket or the club coloured, red and blue stands.
