Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club News /  Croke Park Draw

 Desmonds GAA Club members are busily selling tickets for the massive draw organised by Croke Park .

An all expenses trip to Australia for two with the compromise rules team;

Tickets for two with the 2014 All-Star team to Boston  and All Ireland final tickets and tickets to the GAA All-Star Banquet; A trip for two for three days to New York for St. Patricks Day 2015. A travel voucher for €1,500; A shopping voucher for €1,000; Two Croke Park premium tickets for a concert of your choice in 2014; Two Corporate Box concert tickets for a concert of your choice with pre-concert hospitality in Croke Park in 2014;

All Ireland Senior & Minor Football Finals tickets for two people with corporate hospitality and two night’s accommodation; Two tickets for the All-Ireland Senior & Minor Hurling Finals with two night’s accommodation and corporate box hospitality; All Ireland Finals Package 2014 includes:  Premium tickets for two with overnight accommodation for both finals.

 Tickets are available from all club officers and the draw will be made on St. Patrick’s Day.  Sellers are required to return all ticket stubs by March 1^st. All proceeds from the draw will be retained by the club .

Desmonds Ladies AGM

 Castleisland Desmonds Ladies GAA Club held its annual general meeting recently and the following officers were elected: 

 Chairperson:  Eilish O’Leary; Vice chair: Donal Curtin; Secretary:  Aileen Lynch; Treasurers: Hugh O’Connell and Kerrie Lynch. Registrars: Kerrie Lynch and Eilish O’Leary;  Child Protection Officer, Connie Horan; 

PRO: Eilish O’Leary.  Management and trainers for 2014: U-6:  Denis Kerin; U-8 & U-10: Eddie O’ Regan; U-12: Marguerite Hickey & Nora Buckley; U-14: Niall Mitchell,  Rachel Cronin & Pa White. 

U-16: Steve Murphy; Senior:  Billy Mangan.
