The third annual An Ríocht AC / Lee Strand 10 Mile and 5k Road Race will be held this year on Sunday, May 11th starting at 11am.

Last year’s event was a huge success when seven hundred took part, creating an unrivalled atmosphere from start to finish with a great buzz as all participants finished on the track.

“The main body of participants will be those who will have their own personal goals. That may be improving on previous times for the event or conquering the distance for the first time.  Either way, everybody is sure to have a great experience and will receive plenty of support from everyone along the route.”

Some of the people taking part will be experienced runners competing against each other and the clock.  But the main body of participants will be those who will have their own personal goals.
