It’s Summer-Time … and the Clocks go Forward !

Don't forget that the clocks go forward one hour at 1am on Sunday morning !
Don’t forget that the clocks go forward one hour at 1am on Sunday morning !

It is under British Summer Time (BST) that we set and re-set our clocks in March and October of each year.

Summer time begins officially on the last Sunday in March, as clocks move an hour forward on at 1am on Sunday morning.

It ends on the last Sunday of October. Since 2002 the beginning and end of BST have coincided with a clock change across the European Union – known as Central European Summer Time.

So, if you’re a stickler for time and detail you can wait up ‘til 1am. and move your clock forward – or do it when you come in from the pub – if you’re not.

Either way you’ll lose an hour’s sleep by the time you wake up in the morning – if you’re a stickler for time. It’s Summer-time !
