Gina Donates ‘In & About’ Collection to ‘The Library’

Castleisland branch library staff-members were delighted to announce the donations of the entire and pristine

Under the stewardship of Gina McElligott, this was a publication which chronicled the happenings of the town in pictures and words during the years of its run from 1994 to 2010.

“Castleisland Library is extremely pleased to announce that it has recently received a donation of In and About Castleisland dating from 1994 to 2010 from Ms. Gina McElligott of College Road, Castleisland,” according to a note from the staff.

“The publications are in pristine condition as they are all individually laminated by Gina. The Library would like to express its sincere gratitude to Gina. Any historical materials that the local people may have in their homes are vital for posterity and to have such records housed in the local library is a terrific asset to the community for all to view,” the note concluded.
