It sounds dangerously close to the ‘Any excuse for a Party’ category but a celebration to mark the third anniversary of the founding of the Sliabh Luachra Rambling House in Scartaglin will be held in the village heritage centre tonight at 8-30pm. Bridie Garvey issued an SOS earlier for musicians, singers, storytellers and ramblers to come along to the centre tonight at 8.30pm. A raffle will be held and there will be tea, home-made treats and refreshments served. A good night is assured. Bridie Garvey can be contacted on: 086 3390789
