For the second year running Kilmurry faced Tuosist in the three- teacher Allianz Cumann na mBunscol final at Austin Stack Park in Tralee on Tuesday.  It was expected to be a close and exhilarating final between these two teams and they did not disappoint. Kilmurry scored the first point within seconds of the game starting after Kayla O’Connor fielded the throw in and ran straight through the heart of the Tuosist defence  to open the scoring. However Tuosist replied emphatically scoring three goals to go eight points clear of Kilmurry.

Kilmurry N.S rallied hard and fought hard to regain the lead just before half time after Bríd Moriarty slotted home a vital goal. The second half continued to ebb and flow with Tuosist and Kilmurry exchanging scores. Tuosist keeper Chloe Cremin was outstanding in goals and kept her side in the game making several saves throughout the period. Kilmurry N.S. performed exceptionally well in the second half with Bríd Moriarty, Kayla O’Connor and Aisling Kearney leading their side to victory. It was a fantastic final with Kilmurry N.S. coming out victorious for the second year running. Final score Réalt na Mara Tuosist  5-1 Kilmurry N.S. 5-9.
