Emboldened by the success of her recent, organised bus trips to various areas of interest around the country, Marie Walsh is off on her travels again. She’s just issued another invite to people of the area who might like to book a seat on a bus for a day-trip to West Clare on Saturday, July 26th.

The trip will take in places like: Loophead Lighthouse – a winner of the European Destination of Excellence in 2010 and also The Irish Times winner of the best place to holiday in Ireland in 2013.

“We’ll visit the Famine Museum in Kilrush and have tea/coffee and scone at the Vandeleur Walled Garden and Centre. Then it’s off to Kilbaha to visit The Little Ark  and a piece of history.  We’ll have lunch is by the River Shannon at Keatings. Take the scenic route back to Kilkee for a stop off. Return journey home by the ferry,” said Marie.
