Festival chairman, Cormac O’Mahony’s mother, Phil passed away on Monday and the following notice will provide you with all the arrangements information you need.

The death has occurred of Phil O’MAHONY (née McFarlane) Cahernard, Castleisland, Co. Kerry
Phil, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, after an ilness bravely borne Sadly missed by her beloved husband Conor, her family Tadhg, Deirdre, Cormac and Muiris, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, ten grandchildren, sister Moira, nephews, nieces and especially her niece Bairbre, all extended family, relatives, neighbours and a very large circle of friends.

Reposing at Tangney’s Funeral Home Castleisland on Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to Castleisland Parish Church. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am, followed by Private Cremation at the Island Crematorium Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. Family flowers only, please.
