A note from North & East Kerry Development expresses delight at the announcement of the continuation of the Revamp Furniture Recycling Enterprise to 2017.
The news means that it has secured the direct employment for 12 local people in Castleisland. It also allows them to continue providing affordable, good quality, pre-loved and upcycled furniture.
“Our funder Pobal has just approved our Business Plan and our craftspeople are currently undergoing further training in workwork as you can see from the photos of the staff at work in our on-site workshop,” said Hazel O’Malley.
“Revamp is located at our premises in Crageens, Castleisland – just before An Ríocht – and our furniture shop is open for business Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 5.30pm and Fridays 9.30am to 4.00pm.
