Local footballer, Cáit Lynch will lead out the Kerry Ladies Senior team against Laois in the National league game at home here in Moanmore later today, Sunday, February 22nd at 2pm.

Cáit will be joined on the team by several of her Desmonds All-Ireland winning team and a ‘new arrival’ her cousin, Jane Lynch.

The cousins and the rest of the team can expect fire and brimstone from the midlanders as they’re old hands at Ladies football and were always one of the biggest threats to Kerry’s lofty perch on the All-Ireland stage during the late 1980 and early 90s.

This home encounter will give locals an opportunity to support the Kerry team and its local involvement and its very local – just two gates and a couple of fields away – captain, Cáit.

On the male side of the club’s activity, the senior team will travel to Brosna today to take on the newly crowned All-Ireland Junior Football Champions in the North Kerry Senior Football League .

Brosna GAA Club has kindly agreed to bring the game forward to 12 noon to facilitate supporters who may want to get to Castleisland to attend the Kerry V Laois ladies game at 2pm.
