Right2Water Castleisland was set up earlier this year on January 17th. It came into being on the day of the first Kerry march of 2015 against the imposition of the water taxation burden on the people of Ireland.
On the coming Saturday, the group will travel to Dublin to join protesters from all over the country and they’re inviting supporters to join them on the bus.
“Like devoted followers of the Kerry football teams of old, we set off on Saturday for the Big Smoke. This time, our opponents will not be the Dubs, but rather those whom we see as the regressive forces in this country who would have us pay for the water we have already paid for,” said group spokesperson, John O’Sullivan.
“Right2Water Ireland – to which we are affiliated through Right2Water Kerry – are involved in the organisation of  a national rally at 1 pm in O´Connell Street. For those brave souls who wish to join us, a bus will be leaving Castleisland at 7.30 am. The cost is €20 per person and this is
payable in advance,” said Mr. O’Sullivan.
If you’re interested in travelling you’re invited to contact : Frank Kevins at 087 94 22 945. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
