There will be parents and brothers and sisters the length and breadth of these islands who have been visited by an unspeakable tragedy and thereby enabled to empathize with the torment and turmoil known by the Buckley family today.
Right-minded people the round of the world will sympathize with their plight and offer what they can in their own and often silent ways to ease the nightmare.
Kate Walsh has set up a shrine and a book of condolence in the Rock Library in the Slice of Life Healthfood Store today on Castleisland’s Main Street.
People are being invited to leave a message or simply a signature in solidarity with what the suffering family of the late Karen Buckley are going through now.
The story has dominated the news headlines in Ireland and Scotland since the Mallow woman went missing in the early hours of Sunday morning.
We have all followed the news of the search and eventual location of the body of the unfortunate Karen on Wednesday night. Now the focus has switched to the anguish of her family and their emotional upheaval and life changing loss.
The Karen Buckley Book of Condolence will be open at the Slice of Life until after her funeral and people of the locality are being invited to leave their messages of support / sympathy or signatures.
