The death has occurred of Mary Courtney (née O’Sullivan) Knockancore, Kilcummin, Killarney / Toureenard, Knocknagoshel. Mary will be sadly missed by her loving, caring daughter, Marie, sons Timmy, Mike and Jerry, brother Timmy, sisters Kathleen and Breda, niece(s), nephew, relatives and friends.
Mary was a member of Knocknagoshel’s Over 55 Club and attended their events every Wednesday. She loved helping out neighbours and looked forward to the Carers’ Breaks and attending Tea Dances in the various centres. Country Music was her abiding love and means of relaxation.
The late Mary Courtney will be reposing at Leahy’s Funeral Home, Knocknagoshel from 6.30pm to 8,30pm, this Friday evening followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Knocknagoshel.
Requiem mass for Mary will take place on Saturday at 12 noon.
Burial afterwards in Old Kilcummin Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers to Palliative Care, Kerry General Hospital c/o Leahy’s Funeral Home.
