Brosna Volunteers Invite you to Hit the Road for Syrian Fund Appeal

A kind-hearted voluntary group in Brosna has issued an appeal for support for a road-run event around the village on the coming Saturday morning.
Brosna Couch-to-5k will hold a charity 3k, 5k and 10k family event in aid of the Syrian Refugee Crisis on Saturday, September 26th at 11am from Brosna GAA pitch.
“This is our community response to the recent shocking scenes which we are witnessing in the media,” said organising group member, Siobhán Linehan.
The event will be timed and entrants may walk, jog or run. Registration is from 9.30am at Brosna GAA Clubhouse.

Entry is €10 adult, €2 children and €20 per family.

“Please come and support the Syrian Refugee Response in Brosna on Saturday,” said Siobhán.
