Local singer/songwriter Proinnsias O’Sullivan is displaying his musical versatility by teaming up with the well-known Scartaglin box player, Sean Browne and Luckra is the result.
Sean, a native of Mullin, Scartaglin is a former student of the great Willie Reidy and is steeped in the Sliabh Luachra tradition.
Luckra plays a very lively set with a mix of traditional tunes and acoustic rock.

Both musicians have played in several combinations and bands previously and it was a recent meeting that got the idea of the new alliance going.

The band can be seen in Kearney’s Bar, Castleisland and various venues around Kerry.
We wish them the best of Luckra for the future. The band can be contacted on: 086 85 12 673.
