Happy New Year – May all Your Horizons be Bright

In wishing all our readers, supporters and friends everywhere A Very happy New Year for 2016 and miles beyond, I also wish to acknowledge the messages I got last night and well into this morning.
I got several very well meaning but woefully lopsided messages and I appreciate the effort that went into these in particular.
It is clear that a good time was being had by all and that all heads are anything but clear this morning.
The good things about being at this January 1st is that we’re only a month away from spring and light and, hopefully, an ease in the rain that’s been soaking the country for the past couple of months.
There can’t be too many springs which have been so anticipated and awaited than the one coming towards us.
May all your horizons be bright and may they remain so the closer you get to them.
There will be people whom life won’t allow see their personal horizons. But there are groups and organisations there to help

Today

Cloudy and cold with outbreaks of rain today, turning heavy in places. Freshening southeast winds will be strong by afternoon. Highest temperatures 8 to 10 degrees.
Tonight

Winds will veer to the east and slacken tonight and temperatures will fall to between 3 and 5 degrees. The rain will continue overnight but will break up in to showers and it will gradually become drier by morning.
Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Saturday, will be drier overall although showers will continue to affect many areas. Temperatures will be between 7 and 10 degrees again but winds will be mainly light, northerly or variable in direction.
