In wishing all our readers, supporters and friends everywhere A Very happy New Year for 2016 and miles beyond, I also wish to acknowledge the messages I got last night and well into this morning.
I got several very well meaning but woefully lopsided messages and I appreciate the effort that went into these in particular.
It is clear that a good time was being had by all and that all heads are anything but clear this morning.
The good things about being at this January 1st is that we’re only a month away from spring and light and, hopefully, an ease in the rain that’s been soaking the country for the past couple of months.
There can’t be too many springs which have been so anticipated and awaited than the one coming towards us.
May all your horizons be bright and may they remain so the closer you get to them.
There will be people whom life won’t allow see their personal horizons. But there are groups and organisations there to help
them lift their gazes too. Look at the picture and the number for the Samaritans in the photograph here and take the first step towards your Happy New Year.
Have a look at today’s Met Éireann forecast with the fast approaching spring in mind.
