Local lady, Dolores O’Reilly is the latest winner in Tralee Credit Union’s Members’ Car Draw. Dolores, a member of the popular College Road family, won the car draw in December and is now the delighted owner of a brand new 161 Toyota Auris.
Castleisland native and Tralee Credit Union staff member, Derry Fleming had the pleasant task of ringing Dolores with the good news just before Christmas.
“Dolores, do you believe in Santa,” Derry asked. “I used to one time,” Dolores replied and, before she had a chance to take it all in, Derry broke the good news of her car win to her.
Absolutely Delighted
“I’ve never won anything before, I didn’t believe it when Derry Fleming from Tralee Credit Union phoned me Christmas week telling me that Santa had arrived early with a brand new car. I’m absolutely delighted, it’s a great start to the year,” said Dolores as she collected her brand new car outside Castleisland Credit Union this morning.
Dolores wasn’t the only member who won in the December car draw: Thirty two members also won cash prizes totalling €13,000; six members won €1,000 each another six members won €500 each and the remaining 20 members €200 each.
A Great Attraction
“Our Members Car Draw is a great attraction for our members with four car draws a year. You’ve a great chance of winning, as its only open to our members and to those members who are in the draw so if you don’t win, you can be sure you’ll know the person who does,” said Suzanne Ennis, Marketing and Business Development Manager, Tralee Credit Union.
“The cost of each draw is €6 per entry and any surplus left over at the end of the year is raffled out to our car draw members in the form of cash prizes at Christmas time. Our car draw is open to Tralee Credit Union members over 18 years of age,” said Suzanne.
