Campaign Poster Zero Tolerance Policy Holding
It was an innocent enough announcement at the Castleisland Chamber Alliance meeting with Election 2016 candidates a couple of weeks ago. Even so, the request by the local Tidy Towns campaigners that the town centre would be observed as a political poster-free zone has been taken as a warning by all candidates.
To date no candidate has violated the zone as the traditional rush to get the face in the place where it will be seen most continues with Friday, February 26th. galloping towards us.
