Constituency Boundaries Stretched as Healy Raes go Global

New York, New York for Danny !

As cogs in the smoothest political machine known to God or man they are the envy of the country. The eyes of the country will be on their performance in the new All-Kerry constituency from early Saturday morning.  Opinion on the streets and on the byways is coming down strongly on the side of the brothers, Michael and Danny winning two seats  in the 32nd Dáil.

Their work ethic, the things they do for people. The things they do for people that never make the papers of the radio. But they do make the difference to the lives of people they touch.

And that’s why there is this feeling abroad on the streets and roads of the constituency that they will make Kerry political history on Saturday.  We’ll have to wait and see.

But be assured that no stone on that journey to the ballot box and beyond will be left undisturbed as they strive for their place in Dáil Éireann and in history.   On a lighter note: I just got a batch of pictures from an over zealous Healy Rae supporter who left Kilgarvan a fortnight ago and hadn’t been seen until he sent back the pictures this morning.

And he won’t be until Friday morning when he’ll be back to cast his vote. Then he’ll be off again to bring all the posters back for battles yet to be announced and fought.
