Darragh Stack is a ‘beginner and pre test specialist’ in the ‘so much to learn’ world of the learner driver.
Darragh’s Driving School provides use of a dual control car at no extra cost, free car controls lesson for beginners and he operating from both Tralee and Killarney test centres – with discounts available for block bookings.
“I provide a relaxed and patient atmosphere for learner drivers. As well as teaching the necessary driving skills required to be a great driver, I also concentrate on building the student’s confidence behind the wheel,” said Darragh.

Daunting Prospect
“The thought of taking control of a car for the first time is a daunting prospect for most people – while it can be a terrifying ordeal for many others. I’m here to take the learner driver through those early-day nerves in the driver’s seat and all the way to the test centre.
“It’s my job to guide students through a confidence building programme of lessons and through all the necessary stages.
“Beginners will start by learning the basics with an introduction to the primary car controls including:  Clutch, Brake, Accelerator, Handbrake, Gear Stick, Seatbelt, Mirrors and Steering Wheel and the secondary controls including:  Indicators, Wipers, Lights, Ignition and Horn and we also instruct them on how to read the dashboard dials.

Ready to Take the Test
“With our beginner driving lessons, the student will develop from having no driving skills to becoming proficient and ready to take the driving test.
Young beginner drivers are usually nervous starting off but we pride ourselves in our patient approach and in our ability to instil confidence in the younger drivers.
