The death has occurred of Con O’Connor, (65) Coolnageragh, Scartaglin, Killarney.

On May 11th 2016, unexpectedly at his residence. Beloved husband of Eileen (Lombard) and adored father of Siobhan and Juliette.

Brother of the late Nora (Brosnan). Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and daughters, Juliette’s fiancé Brendan (Holohan), brothers Liam (Clonmel) and Hugh, sister Kate (Clarke, Dublin), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

The late Con O’Connor was one of a small group from the Scart road who met regularly for years after mass on Sundays and holy days.

Their perch was always on Ger McGaley’s wall accross from the church – on fine days and in Geaney’s recessed door when shelter was needed.

A farmer and a quiet living gentleman, his sudden passing is mourned by his family, neighbours and friends. May God be good to him.
